NCB Area No.5 Fishing Club - The Waters

Mapperley Reservoir is 21 acres in area, and is the largest of the three waters. 39 fishing points are provided, from the bank edge and from platforms. The reservoir is fringed on three sides by mature trees and is noted for its plant and bird life. The water is shallow in some places and very deep in others and thus offers a varied range of conditions for angling; both float fishing and ledgering are practised at Mapperley. Paths and fishing pegs are provided along both sides of the lake. Day tickets are available on the bank fom bailiffs..
